My Father died when I was young so I had no male role model in my life. My dream was to join the army (now with hindsight to legitimately run away). In my teens due to a set of unforeseen circumstances I ended up in serious trouble with the police and my whole future was in serious jeopardy. While I was waiting for my case to go to court (it took about a year) I worked with Paul who threw me a life line and mentored me in such a way that my need to get away was no longer there. Eventually all charges against me were dropped and I am now a qualified Electrician. All the life disciplines I learned working with Paul enabled me to qualify for this worthwhile career. Thank you Artesian.

When I came out of prison I thought I had no future. Thanks to Paul I managed to get my marriage back on track by learning, how to be a caring husband, the importance of relationships and not just thinking about my own needs. I also now understand the importance of a steadfast Father and try each day to fulfil this to my two young daughters.

As a probationer it is difficult to find work and make a fresh start. Few businesses give opportunities to offenders and it has been amazing to find someone who is willing to give me a chance. I have never felt judged by Paul or his team but instead I have been put on equal footing and been appreciated for my willingness to try new skills, thanked for my hard work and asked for my thoughts and input. When I first started I felt wary and uncertain not wanting to put my foot out of place, but having worked with Paul for six months I feel like a normal person again. I have been given the opportunity to learn more skills across a variety of work, not just landscaping, and am now trusted to work independently where the job allows. My probation officer has always been in touch with Paul to ensure such things as the appropriateness of the work I cover and health and safety issues. He is delighted with my progress.
